Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela je raziskati uporabo umetne inteligence pri procesu konstruiranja. Delo se osredotoča na uvajanje različnih orodij umetne inteligence in tehnik za izboljšanje učinkovitosti, natančnosti in inovativnosti v procesu načrtovanja in modeliranja. Predstavljene so teoretične osnove umetne inteligence, vključno s strojnim učenjem, nevronskimi mrežami in globokim učenjem. Analizirane so prednosti in slabosti uporabe umetne inteligence, kot so zmanjšanje človeških napak, izboljšana produktivnost, vendar visoki stroški in kompleksnost uvajanja. Poleg tega so predstavljeni praktični primeri uporabe umetne inteligence pri konstruiranju, vključno z orodji, kot so ChatGPT za generiranje zahtevnikov, Autodesk Fusion 360 za generativno oblikovanje in Solidworks za avtomatizacijo oblikovalskih procesov.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of this thesis is to explore the application of artificial intelligence in the mechanical design process. The thesis focuses on the implementation of various artificial intelligence tools and techniques to improve, efficiency, accuracy and innovation in the design and modelling process. Theoretical foundations of artificial intelligence are presented, including machine learning, neural networks and deep learning. The advantages and disadvantages of using artificial intelligence are analyzed, such as reducing human error, improving productivity, but also the high cost and complexity of implementation. In addition, practical examples of the application of artificial intelligence in mechanical design are presented, including tools such as ChatGPT for claimant generation, Autodesk Fusion 360 for generative design, and Solidworks for design process automation.
