Abstract

Delo najprej predstavi okupacijo in nato ureditev tega območja pod nemškim okupatorjem.

Secondary abstract: The Second World War is considered as the cruellest war in history due to its scale and horrible consequences. It was a universal and total war that affected even the most remote parts of present-day Slovenia. This work gives an insight into the events that marked the lives of the inhabitants of Sovodenj village and its surroundings during the Second World War. The work first presents the occupation and then the regulation of this area under the German occupier. Due to the repressive measures of the occupier, the first supporters of the resistance movement appeared in the first year; they participated in the planning of the December uprising. Otherwise, partisan units began to appear more frequently in the second half of the war, when Sovodenj was liberated. Since then, some more serious conflicts took place. The inhabitants of the liberated territory also organized and founded the Board of the Liberation Front and other field organizations that operated until the end of the war.
