The final thesis focuses on the analysis of musical material, specifically children's songs that were published in the magazines Cicido and Ciciban between 2011 and 2023. In the theoretical part, we presented the children's magazines Cicido and Ciciban, elements of song material analysis, the planning of musical activities in kindergartens, the kindergarten curriculum, and the development of children's musical abilities. In the empirical part, we collected songs published in Cicido and Ciciban from 2011 to 2023 and analysed them in terms of rhythmic and melodic structure, content, form, and character. We found that children's songs and content from Cicido are suitable for the preschool age group, while those from Ciciban are appropriate for school children. The analyses and findings provide opportunities for future planning, implementation, and research of musical activities in schools and kindergartens. Additionally, we found that the field of the arts plays a crucial role in the holistic development of children, and it is important to integrate art into both daily routines as well as planned and spontaneous activities in kindergartens. Through this, children develop musical abilities, which are fundamental for proper musical development. |
