Abstract

Diplomsko delo obravnava ženske like v romanu Na cesti avtorja Jacka Kerouaca. Skozi natančno analizo tega romana se poglobi v karakterizacijo ženskih likov, njihovega namena v zgodbi in avtorjevega odnosa do njih. Diplomsko delo Kerouacove ženske like primerja z njihovo karakterizacijo v avtobiografskem romanu Off the Road avtorice Carolyn Cassady, ki poda alternativen pogled na njihova življenja in mesto v beatniški generaciji.
