Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo pripravili modele za oceno izvozne funkcije Irske, Združenih držav Amerike in Združenega kraljestva. V študiji smo uporabili metodo najmanjših kvadratov za ocenjevanje vpliva različnih makroekonomskih spremenljivk na realni izvoz držav. Kot pojasnjevalne spremenljivke smo uporabili realni efektivni devizni tečaj, zaposlenost, indeks industrijske proizvodnje, indeks cen proizvajalcev, neposredne tuje naložbe in realni izvoz, odložen za eno časovno obdobje. Ocenjene izvozne funkcije so bile preizkušene glede ustrezne specifikacije in stabilnosti regresijskih koeficientov.

Secondary title: ǂAn ǂeconometric analysis of the export function for Ireland, the United States of America, and the United Kingdom
Secondary abstract: In the thesis, we have prepared models to estimate the export function of Ireland, the United States of America, and the United Kingdom. In the analysis, we used the least-squares method to evaluate the impact of various macroeconomic variables on the real exports of the countries. As explanatory variables, we used the real effective exchange rate, employment, industrial production index, producer price index, foreign direct investment, and real exports lagged by one time period. The estimated export functions were tested for appropriate specifications and stability of the regression coefficients. We also checked whether the basic assumptions of the least squares method were met. The study results have confirmed that real effective exchange rates and lagged real exports have a statistically significant effect on current real exports for all three examined countries.
