Abstract

Kakovost življenja je tesno povezana s socialno vključenostjo posameznika. Trbanc (1996) poudarja, da je nadzor posameznika nad osebnim, medosebnim, ekonomskim in družbenim vključevanjem ključen za zadovoljevanje potreb na področjih, ki vplivajo na kakovost življenja. Slabši nadzor nad omenjenimi viri negativno vpliva na kakovost življenja posameznika in otežuje zadovoljevanje njegovih potreb. V Sloveniji se izvajajo različni ukrepi in socialni programi, s katerimi želi država izboljšati življenje ranljivih skupin prebivalstva, med katere spadajo tudi invalidne osebe. Eden takih programov je program socialne vključenosti, ki si prizadeva razvijati in ohranjati socialne ter delovne veščine posameznikov, obenem pa spodbuja in omogoča njihovo ponovno povezovanje s socialnim okoljem. V teoretičnem delu sem opisala koncept kakovosti življenja skozi perspektive različnih tujih avtorjev. Del magistrskega dela sem namenila tudi konceptu socialne izključenosti in njegovemu vplivu na ranljive skupine prebivalstva. Posebno pozornost sem namenila invalidnim osebam kot eni izmed ranljivih skupin družbe. Predstavila sem uradne dokumente slovenske zakonodaje na področju socialne vključenosti, ki spodbujajo socialno vključevanje invalidnih oseb in predstavila delovanje ter cilje programa socialne vključenosti. S kvalitativno analizo sem želela celostno prikazati kakovost življenja oseb z izkušnjo vključitve v program socialne vključenosti in raziskati, ali se je kvaliteta življenja oseb v obdobju po prekinitvi vključevanja spremenila in kako. Želela sem ugotoviti, katera področja, ki vplivajo na kakovost življenja, bi bilo pri osebah potrebno okrepiti. V empiričnem delu sem s kvalitativno analizo devetih primerov raziskala, kaj intervjuvanim osebam predstavlja socialna vključenost, kaj jim pomeni vključevanje v programe socialne vključenosti in kako ti programi vplivajo na kakovost življenja vključenega posameznika.

Secondary abstract: Quality of life is closely linked to social inclusion. Trbanc (1996) points out that individual control over personal, interpersonal, economic, and social integration is crucial for meeting needs in areas that affect quality of life. Poor control over these resources negatively impacts the individual's quality of life and makes it more difficult to meet their personal needs. In Slovenia, various measures and social programmes are being implemented to improve the lives of vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities. One such example are social inclusion programmes, aiming to develop and maintain social and work skills of individuals, while encouraging and facilitating their reintegration into the social environment. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the concept of quality of life from the perspective of various authors. Part of the thesis is devoted to the concept of social exclusion and its impact on vulnerable groups of the population. I paid special attention to people with disabilities as one of the vulnerable groups. I presented the official documents of the Slovenian legislation in the field of social inclusion, which promote the social inclusion of disabled people, and I described the functioning and objectives of the social inclusion programme. Through qualitative analysis, I aimed to provide a holistic picture of the quality of life of individuals with experience in social inclusion programmes and to investigate whether and how the quality of life of persons with disabilities has changed in the period following the interruption of their inclusion. I wanted to identify areas where the quality of life of the individuals involved needed improvement. In the empirical part, I conducted a qualitative analysis of nine cases to explore what social inclusion means to the interviewees, what involvement in social inclusion programmes means to them, and how these programmes affect the quality of life of the individuals involved.
