Abstract

Cilj magistrskega dela je bil razviti prototip uporabniškega vmesnika spletne aplikacije za zaznavanje poplav v okviru mednarodnega študentskega projekta. Z deskriptivno metodo je bila pregledana literatura in opisani ključni pojmi uporabniških vmesnikov, grafičnega oblikovanja, spletnih aplikacij in medkulturne komunikacije. Primerjalna analiza različnih strokovnih virov je razkrila najučinkovitejše pristope k estetskemu oblikovanju. Na podlagi teoretičnih izhodišč je bil razvit prototip, ki je bil testiran z vprašalnikom UEQ za pridobitev ocene o uporabniški izkušnji. Rezultati so pokazali, da dobro zasnovan vmesnik, ki upošteva oblikovalska načela, bistveno izboljša učinkovitost in uporabniško izkušnjo spletnih aplikacij.

Secondary title: User interface of a web application for flood detection
Secondary abstract: The main goal of this Master's Thesis was to develop a prototype of a user interface for a flood detection web application as part of an international student project. Using a descriptive method, we reviewed the literature and described key concepts of user interfaces, graphic design, web applications, and intercultural communication. A comparative analysis of various professional sources revealed the most effective approaches to aesthetic design. Based on theoretical foundations, we developed a prototype, which was tested using the UEQ questionnaire to assess user experience. The results showed that a well-conceived interface that follows design principles significantly improves the efficency and user experience of web applications.
