Abstract

V magistrskem delu predstavimo načine oddaljenega dostopa in nadzora do vgrajenih sistemov, naštejemo probleme, ki jih srečamo pri implementaciji in uporabi, ter predstavimo rešitve, ki so na voljo. Predstavljene rešitve nato uporabimo za implementacijo sistema za oddaljen dostop do naprave in demonstriramo njegovo delovanje. Delo zaključimo z analizo rešitve v različnih okoliščinah in s simuliranjem raznih problemov ter preverjanjem odziva sistema. Ugotovili smo, da je neposredna povezava najbolj zanesljiva in omogoča najmanjšo zakasnitev, vendar ni vedno izvedljiva. V takih primerih je priporočljiva uporaba posredniškega strežnika, ki zagotavlja povezljivost tudi takrat, ko neposredna povezava ni mogoča.

Secondary title: An advanced remote access and control of Metrel instruments
Secondary abstract: In the thesis we introduce different methods of remote access and control of embedded systems, list the problems encountered during implementation and use, and present the solutions that are available. We then use the presented solutions to implement a system for remote access to a device and demonstrate its operation. We conclude the work with an analysis of the solution in different environments and by simulating various problems and checking how the system responds. We found that a peer-to-peer connection is the most reliable and provides the lowest latency, but is not always feasible. In such cases, the use of a relay server is recommended, so it can provide connectivity even when a peer-to-peer connection is not possible.
