diplomsko delo
Abstract
Uvod: Rak dojk je eden izmed najbolj razširjenih rakov.
V prvem koraku smo naredili opisno analizo s
tabelaričnim povzetkom podatkov, v drugem koraku kvalitativno tematsko analizo.
delovnega mesta. Pri temi Značilnosti prilagoditev smo izpostavili pozitivne in negativne
izkušnje s prilagoditvami, dostopnost do informacij o prilagoditvah in pravicah ter
diskriminacijo na delovnem mestu. Razprava in zaključek: Prilagoditve na delovnem
diskriminacije. Rezultati raziskave odpirajo dodatna vprašanja in potrebo po nadaljnjem
raziskovanju obravnavanega področja

Workplace adaptations for breast cancer survivors |
Secondary abstract: |
Introduction: Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers. The return to work after
breast cancer has an impact on the well-being of the individual and on the reduction of
financial loss. Successful return to work means putting in place appropriate solutions, such
as workplace adjustments, to help the person maintain their ability to work. Purpose: The
aim of this thesis is to examine which workplace adjustments facilitate the reintegration into
work of people recovering from breast cancer. Methods: The thesis presents a general
review of the literature. In a first step, a descriptive analysis with a tabular summary of the
data was carried out. In a second step, a qualitative thematic analysis. Results: The results
were grouped into two main themes and 6 sub-themes. For the topic of adjustment, we found
that the most common adjustments were related to adjustments in schedule, workplace and
work activities, that cognitive difficulties are often a problem when returning to work, and
what are the most common adjustments outside the workplace. On the topic of characteristics
of adjustments, we highlighted positive and negative experiences of adjustments, access to
information on adjustments and rights, and discrimination in the workplace. Discussion and
conclusion: Workplace adjustments play a major role in successful return to work after
breast cancer. The most frequently mentioned adjustment was shorter working hours to allow
people more rest. However, ergonomic solutions are also important to increase productivity
and performance at work. People affected by cancer are still not aware of their rights and
this can lead to discrimination. The results of the survey raise further questions and the need
for further research in this area. |
