Abstract

V diplomski nalogi predstavljam eksperimentalne podatke merjenja temperature zmrzišč, viskoznosti in gostote evtektičnih topil mešanic timola in oktanojske kisline, katere sem pripravila v razmerju molskih deležev 1:3, 1:2, 1:1, 2:1 in 3:1 ter jim izmerila zmrzišča. Njihovo viskoznost in gostoto sem izmerila pri temperaturah med 10 °C in 45 °C, v razmaku 5 °C. Rezultate predstavljam v obliki tabel in grafov. Evtektična topila predstavljajo novejšo zamenjavo za ionske tekočine, zaradi njihovih podobnih fizikalno-kemijskih lastnosti in karakteristik. Njihova priprava je lažja, cenejša in bolj prijazna so okolju. Zato se vse pogosteje uporabljajo v farmacevtski industriji.

Secondary abstract: In this work, I present experimental data on the measurement of freezing point temperature, viscosity and density of eutectic solvents of mixtures of thymol and octanoic acid, which I prepared in the molar ratios of 1:3, 1:2, 1:1, 2:1 and 3:1 and measured their freezing points. I measured their viscosity and density at temperatures between 10 °C and 45 °C, in intervals of 5 °C. I present the results in the form of tables and graphs. Eutectic solvents represent a newer replacement for ionic liquids, due to their similar physicochemical properties and characteristics. Their preparation is easier, cheaper and more environmentally friendly. That is why they are increasingly used in the pharmaceutical industry.
