Abstract

V tej diplomski nalogi sem se posvetila razvoju spletne aplikacije za upravljanje teniške lige. Aplikacija je zasnovana z namenom, da poenostavi organizacijo in izvedbo lig. Omogoča vpis igralcev, razporejanje tekem, vnos in vpogled v rezultate ter spremljanje napovedanih tekem. Pri razvoju sem uporabila sodobne tehnologije, kot so Python in Django za zaledni del sistema, JavaScript in React za uporabniški vmesnik ter SQLite za shranjevanje podatkov. Moj cilj je bil ustvariti platformo, ki izboljša preglednost in učinkovitost upravljanja lig ter hkrati omogoči lažjo komunikacijo med igralci in organizatorji. Ta projekt mi je omogočil, da združim svojo strast do programiranja in tenisa ter razvijem aplikacijo, ki bo koristna tako igralcem kot organizatorjem.

Secondary abstract:	In this thesis, I focused on developing a web application for managing a tennis league, designed to simplify the organization and execution of leagues. The application enables player registration, match scheduling, result entry and viewing, as well as tracking scheduled matches. For the development, I used modern technologies such as Python and Django for the backend, Javascript and React for the user interface, and SQLite for data storage. My goal was to create a platform that makes managing leagues easier and clearer, while also helping players and organizers communicate better. This project allowed me to combine my passion for programming and tennis, resulting in an application that will be valuable to both players and organizers.
