Abstract
Dandanes se v industriji vse pogosteje srečujemo s CNC obdelovalnimi stroji. Vse bolj popularni postajajo zaradi učinkovitosti, natančnosti in ponovljivosti z minimalnim človekovim posredovanjem. Skozi čas komponente za izgradnjo teh strojev postajajo cenejše, kar omogoča samogradnjo v domačih delavnicah. V zaključni nalogi je predstavljen koncept konstruiranja takega stroja. V začetnem delu je predstavljena kratka teorija s predstavitvijo najbolj pogosto uporabljenih komponent. Izveden je pregled trga obstoječih strojev. Predstavljen je konstrukcijski zahtevek, ki je ključen za začetek konstruiranja. Na podlagi tega zahtevka je narejena morfološka matrika, s pomočjo katere smo izbrali najboljši koncept. Po tem smo se lotili konstruiranja ključnih sestavnih delov stroja. Naloga je zaključena s funkcionalnim 3D modelom in osnovno tehnično dokumentacijo za izdelavo stroja.

Design of a three-axis portal CNC milling machine |

Nowadays, CNC machines are more and more often in the industry. They rise in popularity due to their effectiveness and efficiency with minimal human intervention. Over time, the components for building these machines became cheaper, which allows for self-building in home workshops. In this thesis, the concept of designing such a machine is presented. In the introduction, a short theory is presented with a presentation of the most used components. A market examination of existing machines was also performed. A design request is presented, which is crucial for the start of construction. Based on this request, a morphological matrix is created and used for selecting the best concept. After that, the design for the key components of the machine was done. The task was completed with a functional 3D model and basic technical documentation for the production of the machine. |
