Abstract

Secondary title: Plastic injection modeling tool manufacturing
Secondary abstract: In Diploma thesis we presented the technologies for manufacturing plastic injection molding tool from tool steels. Based on the requirements, we determined the optimal processing technology for each tool segment, the machining tools, their processing parameters. For NC programming we used different drilling, milling and wire strategies in the BobCAD-CAM software environment, where we created the machining programs. The tool was manufactured using a CNC milling machine and electric discharge machine. During the processing, we checked the dimensional accuracy of the machining and the wear of the tools, where we did not detect any significant deviations. Given the successful operation of the tool, we concluded that the technologies used were sufficient for the quality manufacturing of the tool components.
