Abstract
Vrstniško ustrahovanje je ponavljajoče se agresivno vedenje, ki je namenjeno povzročanju škode ali stiske drugi osebi. Namen naloge je bil preučiti značilnosti žrtev vrstniškega ustrahovanja. Na podlagi obsežnega pregleda literatute smo ugotovili, da so žrtve ustrahovanja pogosto posamezniki z nižjo samopodobo, ki se težje vključujejo v skupino vrstnikov. Pogosto so tudi bolj sramežljivi in manj asertivni. Posledice vrstniškega ustrahovanja so lahko resne in dolgotrajne, vključujejo pa psihične težave, kot so depresija in anksioznost, ter socialno izključenost. Na podlagi rezultatov pregleda literature je mogoče sklepati, da so za preprečevanje vrstniškega ustrahovanja potrebni programi, ki se osredotočajo na krepitev samopodobe, razvoj socialnih veščin in ustvarjanje pozitivnega ozračja v šolah.

Characteristics of victims of peer bullying |
Secondary abstract: |
Peer bullying is repeated aggressive behaviour intended to cause harm or distress to another person. The aim of this thesis was to examine the characteristics of victims of peer bullying. Based on an extensive literature review, we found that victims of bullying are often individuals with lower self-esteem who find it more difficult to integrate into a peer group. They are also often more shy and less assertive. The consequences of peer bullying can be serious and long-lasting, and include psychological problems such as depression and anxiety, as well as social exclusion. The results of the literature review suggest that peer bullying prevention requires programmes that focus on building self-esteem, developing social skills and creating a positive school climate. |
