Abstract

Uvod: Osebe z motnjo v duševnem razvoju imajo nevrorazvojne primanjkljaje, kot so omejitve v intelektualnem delovanju in prilagodljivem vedenju ter se pokažejo pred 18. letom starosti. Ob številnih spremljajočih težavah se osebe srečujejo tudi s socialno izključenostjo in nedostopnostjo osnovnih storitev, ki predstavljajo osnovo za kakovostno življenje. Metode: V zaključnem delu smo uporabili opisno ali deskriptivno metodo dela. S pomočjo PRISMA diagrama smo predstavili potek iskanja literature. Rezultate smo prikazali s pomočjo evalvacijske tabele ter naredili sintezo vseh vključenih raziskav. Rezultati: V končno analizo smo vključili osem raziskav, ki so izpostavile različne pristope izboljševanja socialne vključenosti oseb z motnjami v duševnem razvoju. Ugotovitve so pokazale, da se večina raziskav osredotoča na okolje, v katerem živijo in ukrepe, da bi bilo manj omejenega vključevanja v širšo skupnost oziroma v vsakodnevne dejavnosti. Ponekod so začeli s preseljevanjem ljudi iz nadzorovanih oziroma skupinskih domov v prilagojena stanovanja. Z napredkom tehnologije se izboljšuje tudi pogostost in večja praktičnost aplikacij in informacijsko komunikacijske tehnologij. Razprava in zaključek: Raziskave iz vsega sveta so pokazale, da se pristopi izboljševanja socialne vključenosti oseb z motnjami v duševnem razvoju izboljšujejo, izpostavljajo pa tudi probleme in izzive, ki nastopijo pri uresničitvi ter izboljšanju pristopov in storitev.

Secondary title: Aprroaches to improving the social inclusion of people with mental disabilities
Secondary abstract: Introduction: People with intellectual disabilities have neurodevelopmental deficits such as limitations in intellectual functioning and adaptive behaviour, which become apparent before the age of 18. In addition to a few co-morbities, they also face social exclusion and lack of access to basic services that are essential for a good quality of life. Methods: We used a PRISMA diagram to present the literature search process. We presented them with the help of an evaluation table and made a synthesis of all the included research. We also included the strength or level of evidence according to the ranking in the hierarchy of evidence. Results: In the final analysis, we included eight studies that highlighted different approaches to improving social inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. The findings showed that most of the research focuses on the environment in which people live, to have less limited inclusion in the wider community or in everyday activities. In some places, they have started to move people out of supervised or group homes into adapted housing. Given the advances in technology, they are also improving applications and information and communication technologies to make them more common and, above all, easier to use. Discussion and conclusion: Research from around the world have shown that approaches to improving social inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities are improving, but it also highlights the problems and challenges that arise in implementing and improving the approaches or services themselves.
