Abstract

Uvod in namen: Poškodba zadnje stegenske mišice (ZSM) je ena izmed najpogostejših mišično-skeletnih poškodb. Prizadene tako profesionalne športnike kot tudi rekreativce. Značilnost poškodbe je visoka stopnja ponovnih poškodb in širok časovni razpon okrevanja, ki sega od nekaj dni pa vse do nekaj mesecev. Incidenca poškodb ZSM se letno povečuje, kar kaže na neučinkovitost trenutne prakse preventive in obravnav poškodbe ZSM. Prav zaradi tega bomo v našem delu pregledali obstoječe znanje s področja nastanka in obravnave poškodbe ZSM, ki je nujno za dobro razumevanje poškodbe ZSM na področju fizioterapije, in ustrezen fizioterapevtski pristop. Poškodba ZSM zahteva natančen klinični pregled in v večini primerov konzervativno obravnavo v obliki rehabilitacije, zato bomo z našim delom skušali predstaviti najpomembnejše oblike in strategije fizioterapevtske obravnave poškodbe ZSM, ki temeljijo na dokazih, in s tem pripomogli k znanju fizioterapevtov. Metode: Diplomska naloga kot pregled literature vsebuje naslednje vključitvene kriterije: študije s tematiko o poškodbah ZSM ter rehabilitaciji, študije, objavljene med letoma 2000 in 2024 v angleškem jeziku. Rezultati: Rezultati kažejo, da učinkovita rehabilitacija poškodbe ZSM temelji na progresivni vadbi proti uporu, vajah teka, pliometrije in agilnosti. Asklingov H-test je pomemben kriterij pri odobravanju povratka v športno aktivnost. Uporabnost: Diplomska naloga prinaša celovito predstavitev rehabilitacije poškodbe ZSM, s pomočjo katere fizioterapevti lahko optimiziramo rehabilitacijo posameznika po poškodbi ZSM in s tem zmanjšamo tveganje za ponovno poškodbo ZSM. Omejitve: Področje fizioterapevtskega pristopa pri poškodbi ZSM je zelo obsežno, zato smo predstavili najbolj pomembne vidike fizioterapevtske rehabilitacije. Za poglobljeno razumevanje poškodbe ZSM priporočamo podrobnejši pregled navedenih člankov.

Secondary abstract: Introduction and purpose: Hamstring strain injury (HSI) is one of the most common musculoskeletal injuries. It impacts professional athletes as well as recreational ones. The characteristics of HSI are very high recurrence rate of injuries and a wide time span of recovery. Incidence of HSI injuries is increasing annually, which shows that current practice for prevention and treatment is unsuccessful. That is why we will review the science of mechanisms and risk factors for HSI and by that represent necessary knowledge for proper understanding of HSI from physiotherapy standpoint. HSI need accurate clinical diagnosis and in most cases conservative treatment in form of rehabilitation, that is why we will represent most effective and evidence-based treatment approaches and strategies and by that contribute to the knowledge of the physiotherapists. Methods: Literature review. Inclusion criteria: (1) studies that entail rehabilitation strategies for HSI, (2) we will include studies published between years 2000 and 2024. Results: Results show that effective rehabilitation of HIS contains progressive resistance exercises as well as agility, running and plyometric exercises. Askling H – test is important criteria before return to sport phase. Usability: Our work represents comprehensive review of best HSI rehabilitation practice, which enables physiotherapist to upgrade their current rehabilitation strategies.
