Abstract

V diplomskem delu so otroci iz Vrtca Otona Župančiča Slovenska Bistrica, enota Poljčane, opazovali ptice. Za cilje dela smo si zadali, da bi otroci čim bolje spoznali ptice, raziskovali predstave o pticah in njihovem letenju, spoznavali bivališča, razmnoževanje in skrb za zarod ter prehranjevanje. Primerjali smo znanje otrok pred dejavnostmi in po njih. Ugotovili smo, da so otroci po dejavnostih vedeli več o pticah. Pri risanju so narisali več podrobnosti, uporabili realne barve in prepoznali več ptic, skupaj kar 27 različnih vrst. Otroci so ugotovili, da nekatere ptice živijo na drevesih in prebivajo v okolici človeških bivališč. Letenje ptic so povezali z velikostjo in maso telesa ter s perjem. Spoznavali so gnezdenje ptic in skrb za zarod.

Secondary abstract: In this work, the children of the kindergarten Oton Župančič Slovenska Bistrica, Poljčane, observe birds. The aims of the work are to learn about birds, explore ideas about birds, study bird flight, learn about bird habitats, reproduction and care during breeding and feeding. We compared our knowledge before and after the activities. It turned out that the children had more knowledge about birds after the activities. When drawing, they drew more details, used the correct colours and identified more birds, a total of 27 different species. They learned that some birds live in trees and near human homes. They made a connection between the flight of the birds, their size, body mass and feathers. They learned how birds nest and how they raise their offsprings.
