Abstract

Diplomska naloga obravnava proces zaposlovanja in selekcijskih postopkov v podjetju X, s poudarkom na učinkovitosti uporabljenih metod ter prilagajanju sodobnim kadrovskim izzivom. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljeni ključni pojmi s področja kadrovanja, kot so pridobivanje kandidatov, selekcijski postopki, ocenjevalni centri, testiranja ter pomen uvajanja novih zaposlenih. V empiričnem delu je z uporabo intervjuja s kadrovnico podjetja X prikazan vpogled v zaposlitveni proces in selekcijske postopke, kar omogoča vpogled v praktično izvajanje kadrovskih praks. Rezultati raziskave kažejo, da podjetje X uporablja kombinacijo tradicionalnih in sodobnejših metod za izbiro najprimernejših kandidatov, pri čemer daje poseben poudarek osebnim razgovorom, preizkusom sposobnosti in spremljanju kandidatovega vedenja. Poudarjena je tudi vloga dobre priprave in izvedbe uvajanja novih zaposlenih, saj to bistveno prispeva k hitrejši prilagoditvi in večji učinkovitosti. Na podlagi ugotovitev so v zaključku podana priporočila za nadaljnje izboljšave kadrovskih postopkov, kot so večja digitalizacija, sistematično preverjanje učinkovitosti selekcijskih orodij ter krepitev strateške vloge kadrovske službe.

Secondary abstract: This thesis explores the recruitment and selection processes in Company X, with a focus on the effectiveness of the methods used and the adaptation to modern human resource challenges. The theoretical part presents key concepts in the field of human resource management, such as candidate sourcing, selection procedures, assessment centers, testing, and the importance of onboarding new employees. The empirical part includes an interview with the HR representative of Company X, offering insight into the practical implementation of recruitment and selection processes. The research findings show that Company X utilizes a combination of traditional and more modern approaches to identify the most suitable candidates, with particular emphasis on personal interviews, ability testing, and behavioral observation. The significance of well-planned onboarding is also highlighted, as it greatly contributes to faster adaptation and improved performance. Based on the findings, the conclusion offers suggestions for further improvement of HR practices, such as increased digitalization, systematic evaluation of selection tools, and strengthening the strategic role of the HR department.
