Abstract
Uvod: Zaradi velikega števila delovnih mest, dejavnosti in okoliščin enotne definicije nasilja na delovnem mestu ne poznamo. Ena izmed definicij opredeljuje nasilje na delovnem mestu kot vsak fizični napad, grožnjo ali besedno zlorabo, ki se zgodi na delovnem mestu, ali kot vsaka grožnja, besedna zloraba ali fizični napad, ki se zgodi na delovnem mestu. Namen: Namen diplomskega dela je ugotoviti razloge za nasilje, oceniti posledice nasilja, poiskati rešitev in povečati ozaveščenost problematike nasilja med zdravstvenimi delavci. Metode dela: Uporabili smo deskriptivno raziskovalno metodo z uporabo pregleda literature, katero smo poiskali v bazah CINAHL, PubMed-Medline, Wiley, Google Scholar, Cobiss in spletnih arhivih revij Obzornik zdravstvene nege in Zdravniški vestnik. Pri tem smo si pomagali s ključnimi besedami v slovenskem in angleškem jeziku: »nasilje«, »psihično nasilje«, »fizično nasilje«, »zdravstvena nega«, »healthcare«, »nursing«. Uporabljeni so bili Boolovi logični operatorji (IN, ALI, NE /AND, OR, NOT). Rezultati: Ugotavljamo, da se nasilje med zaposlenimi v zdravstveni negi pojavlja. Najpogostejša oblika je psihično nasilje, ki ga izvajajo tako nadrejeni kot tudi zaposleni na isti ravni. Nasilje na delovnem mestu vpliva na življenje izven službe, na psihološko počutje zaposlenih, zmanjšuje produktivnost, povzroča izgorelost in poslabšuje odnose med zaposlenimi. Razprava in zaključek: Nasilje med zaposlenimi v zdravstveni negi predstavlja resen problem, ki lahko negativno vpliva na kakovost oskrbe in delovno okolje. Za obvladovanje nasilja med zaposlenimi je potreben sistematičen in celovit pristop. Preprečevanje nasilja med zaposlenimi vključuje izobraževanje zaposlenih o prepoznavanju in obvladovanju konflikta, ustvarjanje odprte komunikacijske kulture in implementacijo jasne politike proti nasilju na delovnem mestu. Nasilje nad zaposlenimi v zdravstveni negi je kompleksen problem, ki zahteva stalno prilagajanje in pozornost za njegovo preprečitev. Pomembno je, da vodstvo ustanov spodbuja ničelno toleranco do nasilja in zagotavlja podporne procese za prijavo nasilnih dogodkov. Le z usklajevanjem prizadevanj na ravni zaposlenih in organizacije lahko ustvarimo delovno okolje, ki bo pozitivno vplivalo na zaposlene, kot tudi na kakovost zdravstvene nege.

Introduction: Due to the large number of jobs, activities and circumstances, there is no single definition of workplace violence. One definition defines workplace violence as any physical attack, threat or verbal abuse that occurs in the workplace or as any threat, verbal abuse or physical attach that occurs in the workplace. Purpose: Purpose of the thesis is to determine the reasons for violence, assess the consequences of violence find a solution and increase awareness of the issue of violence among health workers. Methods: We used a descriptive research method using a literature review. Literature was searched in the databases CINAHL, PubMed-Medline, Wiley, Google Scholar, Cobiss and other online archives of Obzornik zdravstvene nege in Zdravnibki vestnik. We used key words in
Slovenian and English language: »violence«, »psychic violence«, »physical violence«, »healthcare«, »nursing«. We used Boolean logical operators (AND, OR, NOT). Results: Violence among nursing employees occurs and the most common form being is psychological violence. It's done by superiors as well as employees at the same work level.
Workplace violence also affects life outside of work, psychological well-being of employees, reduces productivity, causes burnout and worsens relations between employees.
Discussion and conclusion: Violence among nursing staff is a serious problem that can negatively affect the quality of patient care and the work environment. A systematic and
comprehensive approach is needed to manage violence between employees. Preventing workplace violence includes educating employees on how to recognize and manage conflict,
creating an open communication culture and implementing a clear workplace violence policy. We found out that violence against healthcare workers is a complex problem that
requires constant adaptation and attention to prevent it. It is important that leadership promotes zero tolerance for violence and provided supportive processes for reporting
violence incidents. Only by coordinating efforts at the employee and organizational levels we can create a work environment that will positively impact employees as well as the quality of health care. |
