Abstract
V diplomskem delu z naslovom Vpliv sprememb na delo starejših zaposlenih so obravnavane značilnosti starejših zaposlenih v organizacijah in kako se to odraža v delovanju organizacij. Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti, kako spremembe na delovnem mestu vplivajo na starejše zaposlene. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da imajo starejši zaposleni v organizacijah dovolj priložnosti za prenašanje znanja na mlajše generacije, med katerimi še vedno prednjači mentorstvo. Starejši zaposleni so izpostavili, da jim izkušnje in ustrezna usposobljenost pomagajo pri opravljanju nalog, da pa težje opravljajo naloge, ki zahtevajo hitro prilagajanje spremembam in veliko fizičnega napora. Organizacije se zavedajo pomena ergonomskega delovnega okolja in podpore pri vpeljavi nove tehnologije za starejše zaposlene ter tudi skrbi za zdravje in dobro počutje starejših zaposlenih. Na podlagi teh ugotovitev so bila oblikovana priporočila za organizacije, kako prilagoditi delovno okolje za starejše zaposlene. Priporočila vključujejo spodbujanje prenosov znanja v organizacijah, prilagajanje delovnega okolja zaposlenemu in ne obratno, pravočasno obveščanje starejših zaposlenih o spremembah in fizično razbremenitev starejših zaposlenih, usposabljanja za rokovanje s tehnologijo, zagotavljanje fleksibilnega delovnika ter spodbujanju zdravega življenjskega sloga.

The impact of changes on the work of older employees |
| Secondary abstract: |
The thesis titled The Impact of Changes on the Work of Older Employees examines the characteristics of older employees in organizations and how these characteristics are reflected in organizational functioning. The primary aim of the research was to determine the effects of workplace changes on older employees. Findings indicate that older employees are provided with sufficient opportunities to transfer knowledge to younger generations, most commonly through mentoring. Older employees emphasized that their professional experience and appropriate training support them in performing tasks effectively; however, they reported greater difficulty in adapting to changes that require rapid response or significant physical effort. Organizations recognize the importance of an ergonomic work environment and the need to support older employees in adopting new technologies, while also addressing their health and overall well-being. Based on the results, the study offers practical recommendations for organizations to better accommodate older employees. These include fostering intergenerational knowledge transfer, adapting the work environment to employee needs, providing timely information about workplace changes, reducing physical strain, offering training for technological tools, ensuring flexible work arrangements, and promoting healthy lifestyle practices. |
