Abstract

Smoter magistrskega dela je sinteza novih koordinacijskih spojin kobalta z različnimi vezanimi cianopiridini. Za izvedbo sinteze je kot vir kobaltovih ionov uporabljen kobaltov(II) acetat tetrahidrat z molekulsko formulo: Co(CH3COO)2 ∙ 4H2O in trije različni cianopiridini (2-cianopiridin, 3-cianopiridin in 4-cianopiridin) z molekulsko formulo C6H4N2. Skupno je bilo izvedenih 24 sintez, ki so bile opravljene po dveh različnih metodah, in sicer: mešanje pri sobni temperaturi ter sinteza z mešanjem pod refluksom. Sintezirani produkti so bili karakterizirani s pomočjo Fourierjeve transformirajoče infrardeče spektroskopije in z rentgensko analizo na monokristalu. Podatke o lastnostih in strukturi spojin smo pridobili s pomočjo termogravimetrične analize.Sintetizirana je bila nova kobaltova koordinacijska spojina z vezanim ligandom 4-cianopiridinom in molekulsko formulo: [Co(C2H3O2)2(C6H4N2)(H2O)3].

Secondary title: Synthesis and characterization of cobalt coordination compounds with selected cyanopyridine ligands
Secondary abstract: The aim of the master's thesis was the synthesis of new coordination compounds of cobalt with various bound cyanopyridines. For the synthesis were used cobalt(II) acetate tetrahydrate with molecular formula: Co(CH3COO)2 ∙ 4H2O and three different cyanopyridines (2-cyanopyridine, 3-cyanopyridine and 4-cyanopyridine) with molecular formula: C6H4N2. A total of 24 syntheses were carried out using two different methods: room temperature stirring and reflux stirring synthesis. Synthesised products were characterised by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray analysis. Information on the properties and structure of the compounds was obtained by thermogravimetric analysis. A new cobalt coordination compound with bound ligand 4-cyanopyridine, with the molecular formula [Co(C2H3O2)2(C6H4N2)(H2O)3], was synthesised.
