Abstract

Ustvarjalnost in sporazumevalna zmožnost sta osnovni sestavini jezikovnega razvoja učencev v 1. vzgojno-izobraževalnem obdobju. Eden temeljnih ciljev pouka slovenščine je razvijanje sporazumevalne zmožnosti s sprejemanjem (poslušanjem in branjem) in tvorjenjem (govorjenjem in pisanjem) različnih besedil. Sporazumevalno zmožnost ob poimenovalni, skladenjski in pravorečni, sestavlja tudi pravopisna zmožnost, ki zajema obvladovanje pisanja besed, povedi in celotnih besedil v skladu s pravili slovenskega jezika. V magistrskem delu nas zanima, kako se ta zmožnost izraža pri ustvarjalnem pisanju oz. ali pravopisna zmožnost, ki jo učenci razvijejo do konca 1. vzgojno-izobraževalnega obdobja, vpliva na ustvarjalnost njihovih pisnih izdelkov. Cilj raziskave je ugotoviti, ali obstaja korelacija med ustvarjalnim pisanjem tretješolcev in njihovo pravopisno zmožnostjo. Domišljijski binom kot posebna oblika domišljijskega pisanja spodbuja ustvarjalno mišljenje, hkrati pa nudi vpogled v jezikovno natančnost učencev. V empiričnem delu smo analizirali spise 42 učencev ene izmed mariborskih osnovnih šol, zbrane ob koncu šolskega leta 2023/2024. Z analizo smo ugotavljali prisotnost ustvarjalnih elementov, kot so asociativno oddaljeni dogodki, igrivost in personifikacija, ter spremljali pravopisne napake. Rezultati so pokazali, da med ustvarjalnostjo in pravopisno zmožnostjo ni močne povezave, kajti visoka ustvarjalnost se lahko pojavi tudi pri učencih z več pravopisnimi napakami in obratno. Ugotovitve poudarjajo pomen ločenega spodbujanja ustvarjalnega pisanja in jezikovne natančnosti ter hkrati potrjujejo domišljijski binom kot učinkovito orodje za razvijanje ustvarjalnosti v osnovni šoli.

Secondary title: Third graders' creativity in writing an imaginary binomial and their spelling abilities
Secondary abstract: Creativity and communicative competence are fundamental components of language development in pupils during the first educational cycle. One of the primary goals of Slovenian language instruction is to develop communicative competence through the reception (listening and reading) and production (speaking and writing) of various types of texts. Alongside lexical, syntactic, and phonological competence, orthographic competence also forms a part of communicative competence. It involves the ability to write words, sentences, and entire texts in accordance with the rules of the Slovenian language. This master's thesis explores how this competence is reflected in creative writing — specifically, whether the orthographic competence developed by pupils by the end of the first educational cycle influences the creativity of their written work. The aim of the research is to determine whether there is a correlation between the creative writing of third-grade pupils and their orthographic competence. The fantasy binomial, as a special form of imaginative writing, encourages creative thinking while also offering insight into pupils' linguistic accuracy. In the empirical part of the study, we analysed the writings of 42 pupils from a primary school in Maribor, collected at the end of the 2023/2024 school year. The analysis focused on the presence of creative elements such as associative distance between events, playfulness, and personification, as well as on orthographic errors. The results showed no strong correlation between creativity and orthographic competence, as high creativity may be found in pupils with numerous orthographic errors, and vice versa. The findings emphasize the importance of encouraging both creative writing and linguistic accuracy as separate but complementary skills, while also confirming the fantasy binomial as an effective tool for fostering creativity in primary education.
