magistrsko delo
Abstract
V magistrski nalogi so predstavljeni razvoj in rezultati optimizacije novih 2D avksetičnih struktur z uporabo genetskega algoritma in metode končnih elementov.

Development of new 2D auxetic structures using a genetic algorithm |
Secondary abstract: |
The master’s thesis presents the development and results of the optimization of new 2D auxetic structures using genetic algorithm and the finite element method. An optimization loop was developed to generate, simulate and evaluate the structures. The unit cell is assembled into a structure following a predefined pattern. The mechanical response of the structure is determined through linear elastic simulations, with displacement used as the loading condition. Since not all generated structures exhibit auxetic behaviour, a mathematical expression is used to separate the good from bad ones. |
