| Secondary abstract: | This work is focused on optimisation of a seismometer, installed on amateur weather station in Morsko, Slovenia, which uses electromagnetic induction to translate vertical movements to electrical signals. Besides optimisation and noise characterisation, the work describes an excitation system for instrument calibration using the calibrated accelerometer. The thesis at the end presents the results of long-term testing and provides necessary solutions to solve imperefections found during the instrument long-term testing. |
