Abstract
Stres je postal stalni spremljevalec, če ne celo eden izmed glavnih akterjev sodobnega življenja, ki pomembno vpliva na posameznikovo počutje in učinkovitost tako v zasebnem kot tudi v poklicnem okolju. V magistrskem delu obravnavam problematiko stresa na delovnem mestu v izbranem podjetju in se osredotočim tudi na ukrepe za njegovo zmanjševanje. Cilj magistrskega dela je zaradi hitro spreminjajočega se okolja in nove dinamike dela v podjetjih raziskati področje stresa na delovnih mestih in ugotoviti, kakšne so tehnike za njegovo obvladovanje in zmanjševanje. Delo najprej opredeli sam koncept stresa in predstavi vrste stresa. V nadaljevanju se osredotoči na področje stresa na delovnem mestu, kjer so predstavljeni dejavniki, izvori, vzroki in tudi posledice stresa na delovnem mestu. Teoretični del predstavi še razlike med spoloma glede doživljanja stresa pri delu in se prav tako osredotoča na premagovanje in obvladovanje stresa. Skozi kvantitativno raziskavo, ki je bila izvedena v izbranem podjetju X, sem želela ugotoviti, v kolikšni meri je stres prisoten na delovnem mestu, kako ga posamezniki dojemajo, ali obstajajo razlike med spolom in starostjo glede doživljanja stresa ter v kolikšni meri podjetje skrbi za njegovo zmanjševanje. Rezultati dela pokažejo, da je stres večinoma res prisoten na delovnem mestu in da bi ga podjetja morala začeti zmanjševati sistematično in celostno. Pomembna sta zavedanje podjetij o prisotnosti stresa in prilagoditev ukrepov glede na počutje zaposlenih. Ključna sta zgodnje prepoznavanje stresa in usmerjenost podjetij v ustrezne ukrepe za zmanjšanje ali celo preprečevanje stresa.

Stress has become a constant companion, if not one of the main players in modern life, with a significant impact on individual well-being and performance in both personal and professional environments. In my master thesis I address the issue of workplace stress in a selected company and also focus on measures to reduce it. The aim of the master thesis is, precisely because of the rapidly changing environment and the new dynamics of work in companies, to investigate the field of workplace stress and to find out what are the techniques to manage and reduce it. The thesis first defines the concept of stress itself and introduces the types of stress. It then focuses on the area of workplace stress, presenting the factors, origins, causes and consequences of workplace stress. The theoretical part also presents gender differences in the experience of stress at work and also focuses on overcoming and managing stress. Through a quantitative survey carried out in the selected company X, I wanted to find out to what extent stress is present in the workplace, how individuals perceive it, whether there are gender and age differences in the experience of stress and to what extent the company is concerned about reducing stress. The results of the survey show that stress is indeed present in most workplaces and that companies should address it in a systematic and integrated way. It is important for companies to be aware of the presence of stress and to focus on appropriate measures to reduce or even prevent it. |
