Abstract
Namen zaključnega dela je ugotoviti, ali vreme vpliva na telesno dejavnost otrok v različnih koroških vrtcih (Slovenj Gradec, Mislinja, Šmartno pri Slovenj Gradcu in Prevalje). Diplomsko delo temelji na empirični raziskavi, v kateri je sodelovalo 135 otrok, rojenih od 2018 do 2020. Vzorec otrok je ne slučajnostni, metoda, ki smo jo uporabili, je kavzalno ne eksperimentalna. S pomočjo merilnikov pospeška ActiGraph, ki so jih otroci nosili pet zaporednih dni (od ponedeljka do petka), smo pridobili objektivne podatke, kolikšna je telesna dejavnost otrok v različnih koroških vrtcih. Med samim potekom raziskave so vzgojiteljice beležile vsakdanje telesne dejavnosti, sami pa smo beležili vremenska stanja v posameznih krajih. Analize smo opravili v programih SPSS in Microsoft Excel. Na podlagi vseh pridobljenih rezultatov smo ugotovili, da je vreme eden izmed razlogov nižje ali višje telesne dejavnosti v vrtcih, nanjo pa vplivata tudi spol in prostorske razmere.

Differences in physical activity among children in the Koroška region kindergartens in relation to weather conditions |

The aim of this thesis is to examine whether weather conditions influence the physical activity of children attending various kindergartens in the Koroška region (Slovenj Gradec, Mislinja, Šmartno pri Slovenj Gradcu, and Prevalje). The research is based on an empirical study involving 135 children born between 2018 and 2020. The sample was non-random, and the research design employed was causal non-experimental. Objective data on children’s physical activity levels were collected using ActiGraph accelerometers, which the children wore for five consecutive days (Monday to Friday). Throughout the study period, preschool teachers kept records of the children's daily physical activities, while weather conditions were systematically documented for each location. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS and Microsoft Excel. Based on the results obtained, we found that weather is one of the factors contributing to variations in physical activity levels in kindergartens, while gender and spatial conditions also played a role. |
