Abstract
Magistrsko delo obravnava razvoj in uporabo didaktičnih iger kot orodja za spodbujanje okoljskega zavedanja pri pouku naravoslovja in tehnike v 4. razredu osnovne šole. V teoretičnem delu sta predstavljena pomen didaktičnih iger v izobraževanju in njihova vloga pri spodbujanju aktivnega učenja. Poseben poudarek je namenjen vzgoji okolja, predvsem temam, kot so ločevanje, recikliranje in odgovorno ravnanje z odpadki. Namen raziskave je ugotoviti, ali lahko didaktične igre prispevajo k učinkovitejšemu razvijanju znanja okolja in večji motivaciji pri učencih. V praktičnem delu so zasnovane in izvedene štiri didaktične igre z vsebino okolja: eko pustolovščina, kolo sreče okolja, ekološki štiri v vrsto in zeleni spomin. Učni učinek didaktičnih iger smo preverili kvantitativno s pred testom in po testom znanja in z evalvacijskim vprašalnikom za učence (N = 22). Rezultati kažejo na statistično značilno izboljšanje znanja učencev glede okolja po izvedbi iger (∆ = +9,56) ob hkratnem povečanju motivacije in interesa za tematiko okolja. Didaktične igre tako predstavljajo učinkovit pristop k spodbujanju zavesti o okolju že v zgodnjem šolskem obdobju.

The master thesis deals with the development and use of didactic games as a tool to promote environmental awareness in science and technology lessons in the 4th grade of primary school. The theoretical part presents the importance of didactic games in education and their role in promoting active learning. Particular emphasis is placed on environmental education, in particular on topics such as separation, recycling and responsible waste management. The aim of the research was to find out whether didactic games can contribute to a more effective development of environmental knowledge and motivation in students. In the practical part, four didactic games with environmental content were designed and implemented: 'Eco Adventure', 'Environmental Wheel of Fortune', 'Eco Four in a Row' and 'Green Memory'. The learning impact of the didactic games was tested quantitatively by means of a pre-test, a post-test and an evaluation questionnaire for the students (N = 22). The results show a statistically significant improvement of the students' environmental knowledge after the implementation of the games (∆ = +9.56), with a concomitant increase in motivation and interest in environmental topics. Didactic games thus represent an effective approach to promote environmental awareness from an early school age. |
