    Abstract
 
Diplomsko delo obravnava pomen in vlogo razvoja kadrov kot ključnega dejavnika uspešnosti sodobnih podjetij. Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti, kako zaposleni v podjetju X doživljajo svoj karierni razvoj, kakšna so njihova pričakovanja, stopnja zainteresiranosti za razvojne aktivnosti ter ocena obstoječih aktivnosti in podpore nadrejenih. Teoretični del naloge zajema pregled literature s področja kadrovske funkcije, kariernega razvoja zaposlenih, motivacijskih dejavnikov in strategij razvoja kadrov. V empiričnem delu je bila izvedena raziskava, ki je temeljila na anketnem vprašalniku, izpolnjenem s strani zaposlenih, ter na intervjuju z vodjo kadrovske službe. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da so zaposleni v podjetju X sicer zainteresirani za razvojne aktivnosti, vendar se pri tem soočajo z ovirami, kot so pomanjkanje časa, omejena dostopnost informacij in nezadostna prepoznavnost koristi razvoja. Na podlagi ugotovitev so bila oblikovana priporočila za izboljšanje obstoječih pristopov k razvoju kadrov in spodbujanje aktivnejšega vključevanja zaposlenih.

            The diploma thesis examines the importance and role of human resources development as a key factor in the success of modern companies. The purpose of the research was to find out how employees in company X experience their career development, what their expectations are, their level of interest in development activities and their assessment of existing activities and support from their superiors. The theoretical part of the thesis includes a review of the literature on the human resources function, employee career development, motivational factors and human resources development strategies. The empirical part of the thesis includes a survey based on a questionnaire completed by employees and an interview with the manager of the human resources department. The results of the research showed that although employees in company X are interested in development activities, they face some barriers, such as lack of time, limited availability of information and insufficient recognition of the benefits of career development. Based on the findings, recommendations were made to improve existing approaches to human resources development and to encourage more active employee involvement. |
