Abstract

Izdelani sistem omogoča hitrejše in natančnejše meritve v primerjavi z ročnimi postopki, kar znatno prihrani čas in poveča učinkovitost dela. Razviti sistem prispeva k boljšemu razumevanju termičnih lastnosti enosmernih motorjev in omogoča boljši nadzor nad procesi preizkušanja v industriji.

Secondary abstract: The objective of this diploma thesis was the development and testing of a system for measuring temperature characteristics in DC motors. Accurate temperature monitoring is crucial for understanding motor operation and their reliability. The thesis presents the procedures and execution of measurements, including motor preparation, automated data acquisition, and their analysis. An important part of my contribution was assisting in the establishment of an automated measurement system, including the development of a quick-clamping system for the motor and electrical wiring. The measurements performed on various motors confirmed the reliable determination of S2 and S3 characteristics. The developed system allows for faster and more accurate measurements compared to manual procedures, which significantly saves time and increases work efficiency. With its help, needs for faster motor cooling during S2 measurements, improving software responsiveness to prevent cycling at certain loads, etc., were identified. The developed system contributes to a better understanding of the thermal properties of DC motors and enables better control over testing processes in the industry.
