Abstract

V magistrski raziskovalni študiji sva opredelili medvrstniško nasilje v vrtcu, oblike medvrstniškega nasilja, žrtve in povzročitelje/ice nasilja ter čustva, ki jih doživljajo. Predstavili sva vzroke in posledice medvrstniškega nasilja ter način, kako se odzivajo vzgojitelji/ce, ko ga opazijo. Preverili sva, ali uporabijo vrstniško mediacijo in ali izdelajo načrt za spodbujanje primernega vedenja, ko razrešujejo nasilje med otroki. Omenili sva, kako informacijsko- komunikacijska sredstva vplivajo na nasilje in kateri spol je največkrat aktivno udeležen v medvrstniškem nasilju. V empiričnem delu sva uporabili deskriptivno metodo, kot raziskovalni pristop pa kvalitativno raziskavo, v katero sva vključili primere, ki so nama omogočili, da sva pridobili raznovrstne informacije. Kot tehniko zbiranja podatkov in terensko metodo sva izbrali intervju in opazovanje brez udeležbe. Meniva, da je opravljena raziskava pripeljala do rezultatov o različnih oblikah medvrstniškega nasilja v vrtcu in predhodno navedenih povezanih odnosih, pri čemer je razvidno tudi, kako se ti pojavi izražajo v dveh primerjanih vrtcih iz dveh držav (Slovenija, Srbija).

Secondary title: Peer violence in kindergarten
Secondary abstract: In the master's research study, we defined peer violence in kindergarten, the forms of peer violence, the victims and perpetrators of violence, and the emotions they experienced. We presented the causes and consequences of peer violence and the ways educators reacted when they noticed peer violence. We examined whether they used peer mediation and whether they created a plan to encourage appropriate behaviour when resolving violence against children. We also mentioned how information and communication tools affected violence and which gender was most often actively involved in peer violence. In the empirical part, we used a descriptive method and, as a research approach, qualitative research, in which we included cases that allowed us to obtain a variety of information. We chose interview and non-participant observation as the data collection technique and field method. We believe that the research conducted led to results concerning the different forms of peer violence in kindergarten, and the previously mentioned related relations, where it also became clear how these phenomena were expressed in two compared kindergartens from two different countries (Slovenia, Serbia).
