Abstract

V zaključnem delu je obravnavana hidrološko-hidravlična analiza območja Zgornjega Jezerskega z uporabo odprtokodnih programov QGIS in HEC-RAS. Namen naloge je oceniti poplavno ogroženost izbranega območja na podlagi različnih povratnih dob (Q10, Q100, Q500) ter izdelati karte poplavne nevarnosti. Uporabljen je bil 2D model, pri čemer je bil teren modeliran na osnovi LiDAR podatkov in geodetskega posnetka. V okviru raziskave smo najprej zbrali literaturo s področja hidrologije in hidravlike ter podrobno predstavili programska orodja. Nato smo izdelali digitalni model reliefa in izvedli simulacije. Pridobljeni rezultati omogočajo boljše prostorsko načrtovanje in obvladovanje poplavne ogroženosti v obravnavanem območju. Zaključno delo tako predstavlja pomemben prispevek k uporabi odprtokodnih orodij v inženirski praksi.

Secondary abstract: This master’s thesis presents a hydrological and hydraulic analysis of an area in Zgornje Jezersko using open source software tools QGIS and HEC-RAS. The aim of the study is to assess the flood risk in the selected area based on different return periods (Q10, Q100, Q500) and to create flood hazard maps. A two-dimensional (2D) model was used, with terrain modeling based on LiDAR and geometric data. As part of the research, we first reviewed relevant literature in the fields of hydrology and hydraulics and provided a presentation of the software tools. Subsequently, we created a digital terrain model and carried out simulations. The results obtained support improved spatial planning and flood risk management in the study area. The thesis thus represents a valuable contribution to the use of open-source tools in engineering practice.
