Abstract

Teoretična izhodišča: Kronična nespecifična bolečina v križu (NKBVK) povzroča močno zmanjšanje funkcionalnih sposobnosti ter kvalitete življenja pacientov. Najpogostejši vzroki nespecifične BVK so mišična neravnovesja, obraba sklepov in travmatske poškodbe.

Secondary abstract: Introduction: Chronic non-specific low back pain causes a significant decrease in functional abilities and quality of life of patients. The most common causes of non-specific LBP are muscle imbalances, joint wear and tear and traumatic injuries. The main cause of chronic LBP is the weakening of trunk muscles. Physiotherapy treatment plays an important role in the treatment of NSCLBP. The purpose of the thesis is to investigate which are the most used methods or treatment techniques for NSCLBP and the most effective in reducing pain, improving mobility, reducing functional limitations and improving quality of life. Methods: The empirical part of the research is based on a qualitative analysis of articles. We arrived at the final sample with the help of inclusion and exclusion criteria, search keywords, which we entered into the PEDro, PubMed and ScienceDirect databases, and a final review of abstracts. Results: In the thesis, we found that the most effective method of treating NSCLBP was vacuum therapy (Rodriguez-Huguet et al. 2020), both for short-term effects and long-term (for pain, mobility, functionality and quality of life). It was immediately followed by IF therapy (Tantawy et al. 2020), but only short-term effects were measured. The most frequently used therapy as an individual approach was the use of laser and kinesiological tapes (2 times), and as a combined approach the most frequently used exercise was (5 times). Discussion: Based on the results, we conclude that vacuum therapy stands out as the most effective approach in the treatment of NCLBP.
