Abstract

Secondary title: Planning, Development, and Testing of a Web Application for Supporting Business Processes of a Construction Company
Secondary abstract: Thesis presents the complete process of planning, developing, and testing a web application designed to support the business processes of a construction company Pomgrad d.d., with a focus on collaboration with subcontractors. The solution was custom-built using the Flask web framework and the MVC architectural pattern, with integration of multiple existing company databases. The thesis addresses key challenges such as the fragmentation of data across numerous unconnected databases, implementation of a unified login system using domain credentials, management of user roles and access permissions, as well as the creation and modification of orders. It also includes automatic activity logging. The results of system testing and user feedback are presented. The developed solution improves data transparency, reduces manual work, and increases traceability and accountability in projects.
