Secondary title: Comparison of measured and calculated values of energy for heating in multistorey resential buildings in the area of Jesenice
Secondary abstract: In the diploma thesis, an energy analysis of eight multi-storey residential buildings with more than eight and less than twelve units in the area of Jesenice has been made. The actual measured data for past heating consumptions have been collected. The calculations of annual heat demand, which represents energy class in the energy performance certificate, have also been made. The calculation of annual heat demand has been made in line with the methodology for calculating energy performance of buildings, which complies with the legislation on the energy efficiency of buildings. This legislation and methodology are also part of the thesis. The comparison of measured heat consumptions and calculated values of annual heat demand have shown significant deviations between those two values. That is why the next step of the research process was to find the reasons for these deviations. The reasons have been presented and two corrections of measured values have been proposed. While the first one is based on the difference between actual and input (calculated) climatic data, the second one is based on the influence of local heating systems and apartments that have been empty for a long time. The analysis has shown that both corrections are sensible. As a result, they were united in one common correction. The comparison of calculated and corrected measured values of energy for heating has shown quite a good match between the values. But there are some cases, where deviation is still noticeable and the reason for this is probably the influence of each user. Due to the great influence of each user on the consumption, the demand for the production of the energy performance certificate for new buildings and existing residential buildings based on the calculated values of annual heat demand is justifiable. At the same time a number of findings show that certain changes or upgrades to the methodology of the production of energy performance certificates will be needed, if we want reliable results.
