razreševanje nekaterih terminoloških dilem
Abstract

The author argues that the gap between the real and the perceived security threats has brought to many terminological problems. The development of non-traditionalist understanding of security has contributed to the huge cognitive confusion, exposing us to various military, political, economic, environmental, terrorist, criminal, health, identity and cultural threats to security of individuals, societies, nations, states or international community. Further, author attempts to define the meaning of and mutual relations between security threats, security risks, insecurities and security challenges. In addition, one also has to differentiate between the threats to security, interests, stability, peace and values of reference objects. |
