Abstract

Delo predstavlja rezultate analize zgradbe in rasti sestojev z rdečim borom narastiščih, ki jih poraščajo fitocenoze, uvrščene v sintaksonomsko enoto Genisto januensis-Pinetum sylvestris Tomažič 1940. Raziskavo smo izvedli v pogorju Kuma. Zakoličili smo pet ploskev velikosti 30 x 30 m in opravili analizo zgradbe sestojev. Proučili smo drevesno sestavo, socialno zgradbo, debelinsko in kakovostno strukturo drevja. Na vsaki ploskvi smo poiskali devetnajdebelejših rdečih borov in jih posekali za debelno analizo, da bi ugotovili značilnosti višinske in debelinske rasti rdečega bora na analiziranem rastišču. S pomočjo debelnih analiz smo ocenili produkcijsko sposobnost rastišča. V drevesni sestavi prevladuje rdeči bor, ponekod velike deleže zavzamejo toploljubni listavci ter bukev in smreka. Debelinska struktura sestojev je blizu J-porazdelitvi. Sortimentni sestav rdečega bora jeugoden, nasprotno pa je kakovost listavcev izredno nizka. Višinska rast rdečega bora se po 50. letu običajno umiri, debelinska rast pa je presenetljivo zmerna ter vztrajna in razlike med ploskvami niso velike. Produkcijska sposobnost obravnavanega rastišča je v zelo širokem razponu. Vrednost lesa na panju je nizka. Drevje, tanjše od 30 cm, ima praviloma negativno vrednost na panju.

Secondary abstract: The work presents results of the analysis of structure and growth of Scots pine stands on sites, overgrown with phytocenoses, which are classified into syntaxonomic unit Genisto januensis-Pinetum sylvestris Tomažič 1940. The research was carried out in the mountains of Kum. Five research plots measuring 30 x 30 m were put down and the analysis of stand structure was performed. Tree composition, social, diameter and quality structure were analysed. On each plot nine thickest Scots pine trees were selected and cut for stem analysis. On that basis the characteristics of height and diameter growth were established for the analysed site unit. Using stem analyses we were able to estimate site productivity. As regards tree composition Scots pine prevails, in spots substantial shares can be held by thermophyllous broadleaves and by common beech and spruce as well. Diameter structure of stands is very close to J-distribution. Furthermore, assortment structure of Scots pine is favourable, on the contrary the quality of broadleaves is extremely low. Height growth of Scots pine starts to slow down after the age of 50 years, whereas the diameter growth is surprisingly moderate and persistent, differences between plots are rather small. The range of estimatedsite productivity is very wide. Teh stump value of trees is low, for trees with diameter at breast height below 30 cm is mostly negative.
