Secondary abstract: | American political culture is the culture of mythologised individualism. This is the fact proven not only by the behavior and messages of American mass media, institutions and politicians but also by the relevant political scripts from the beginning of the American nation formation onward. The present article deals mainly with the analysis of The Federalist Papers of Hamilton, Madison and Jay, Democracy in America of Tocqueville and The Civic Culture of Almond and Verba. |
