Abstract
Potreba po razvojnem in velikostnem spreminjanju podjetij izhaja iz želje po dolgoročnem obstoju podjetij. V kolikor želi podjetje poslovati na dolgi rok in pri tem dosegati dobre konkurenčne rezultate, mora vso svojo energijo in trud, usmeriti v proces planiranja rasti in razvoja, ki pa se v podjetju običajno prične s sistematičnim proučevanjem celotnega poslovnega okolja.
V prvem delu magistrskega dela smo se osredotočili na teoretično pojasnjevanje vloge strateškega managementa pri planiranju razvoja, predstavitev poslovnega okolja podjetja, iz katerega izhajajo osrednje zmožnosti za nadaljnji razvoj ter predstavitev nekaterih pomembnejši metod in modelov, ki služijo kot orodje za izvedbo analize zunanjega okolja podjetja. Kot izhodišče za pojasnjevanje teoretičnega dela, smo izbrali MER model integralnega managementa.
V drugem delu magistrskega dela, torej aplikativnem delu, pa smo se osredotočili na analizo delovanja podjetja X in analizo zunanjega okolja v katerem deluje podjetje X. Osrednji namen izvedbe drugega dela magistrske naloge, je bil za podjetje X poiskati strateške priložnosti za nadaljnji razvoj. Kot podlago za izvedbo analize zunanjega okolja podjetja X, smo uporabili metodo Interesnih udeležencev, PESTEL analizo, Porterjev pristop k analizi panoge in Matriko panoge.

Secondary abstract: |
The need for constant changing of companies related to developmental and size adaptations stems from the desire for long-term existence of companies. If the company wants to operate on the long term basis and is aimed at achieving a high level of competitiveness, it should direct a lot of its energy and effort towards the planning process of growth and development. Planning usually begins by systematic exploring the whole business environment.
In the first part of the thesis we focused on the theoretical clarification of the role of strategic management in planning of development of the company, on the presentation of business environment of the company which defines the core capabilities for its further development and on the presentation of some important methods and models that serve as a tool for the analysis of the company’s external environment. As a starting point to explain theory, we chose MER Model of Integral business Management.
In the second applicable part of the thesis, we focused on the analysis of company X and on analysis of the external environment in which the company X operates. The main purpose of presenting the second part of the thesis was to find the strategic opportunities for further development of company X in the conditions of environment defined by us. As a basis for the analysis of the company X external environment, we applied the method of (Interest) Participant analysis, PESTEL analysis, Porter Porter’s approach to branch analysis and Sectors matrix analysis. |
