Abstract

Elektronsko poslovanje in spletno bančništvo sta vsakodnevna spremljevalca hitrejšega tempa življenja ljudi in pomenita velik razvoj ter prihodnost plačilnega prometa na finančnih trgih. Uporaba spletnega bančništva hitro narašča, saj banke svojim uporabnikom ponujajo vedno večji izbor storitev, ki so jim na voljo kjerkoli in kadarkoli. Uporabniki zaradi pomanjkanja časa, nižjih stroškov in enostavne uporabe vedno bolj posegajo po spletnem bančništvu. Za banke spletno bančništvo predstavlja znižanje stroškov bančnih transakcij, večjo preglednost in kontrolo ter pridobitev novih komitentov. Prednosti in kakovost spletnega bančništva pa so zagotovljeni le, ko je poskrbljeno za varnost in zaščito uporabe spletnih storitev. Pri uporabi spletnega bančništva se uporabljajo zaupni osebni podatki, za katere uporabniki želijo, da so varno zaščiteni. Zato vsak posameznik sam kot tudi banke morajo varovati podatke, da bi se obvarovali pred nezaželenimi zlorabami in tveganji. Veliko posameznikov še ne zaupa spletnim storitvam in še vedno dajejo prednost bančnemu okencu in osebnemu poslovanju. Predvsem gre tukaj za ljudi starejše generacije, ki še ni tako informacijsko izobražena. Kot se je izkazalo so največji uporabniki spletnega bančništva mladi, ki spletne storitve uporabljajo skoraj vsakodnevno. Hitrejši tehnološki razvoj in vedno večja iznajdljivost ljudi predstavljata naraščujočo pretnjo spletnemu bančništvu. Za banke veliko nevarnost predstavljajo operativna tveganja, kot posledica napak pri izvajanju notranjih procesov, napak ljudi ali delovanja sistemov in zaradi zunanjih dejavnikov. Operativna tveganja lahko za banke pomenijo propad, saj so v zgodovini prav ta krivec za velike bančne izgube. Potrebno je poskrbeti za učinkovito spremljanje in obvladovanje tveganj ter kakovostno varnostno politiko in zaščito bank. Še bolj kot zaščita bank je pomembna zaščita uporabnikov. Operativnih tveganj v bankah ni mogoče stoodstotno odpraviti, je pa možno njihove učinke zmanjšati. Zato banke z najnovejšo tehnologijo za zagotavljanje varnosti, ustrezno varnostno politiko in njenim izvrševanjem želijo vzpostaviti varno spletno poslovanje. S tehnološko zaščito, rešitvami za zagotovitev varnosti in s kombinacijami različnih instrumentov, ki omogočajo varno spletno poslovanje, želijo banke uporabnikom ponuditi najvarnejšo možnost. V prvi vrsti pa je za varno uporabo spletnega bančništva odgovoren uporabnik, ki mora sam skrbeti za pravilno hrambo gesel in digitalnih potrdil ter računalniške in programske opreme. NLB je imetnik visokokakovostne varnostne politike in zaščite uporabnikov, ki v koraku z najnovejšimi standardi skrbi za zaščito in varnost e-poslovanja preko storitev Proklik in Klik. Svoje storitve je zavarovala z varnostnimi elementi, ki jih uspešno nadgrajuje ter omogoča varnejši dostop za uporabnika. NLB skuša svoje uporabnike ozaveščati o aktualnih nevarnostih ter jih spodbuja k skrbni rabi njihovih storitev. Varnost na spletu ni nikoli stoodstotna in je zato uporabniki ne smemo jemati z levo roko.

Secondary abstract: Electronic business and online banking are the daily followers of the accelerating tempo of people's lives and represent a big development and the future of payment transactions on the financial markets. The use of online banking is growing very fast, because the banks offer their customers a growing selection of services that are available anywhere and anytime. Because the lack of time, low costs and simple usage, the customers are more and more willing to use online banking. For banks online banking represents a costs reduction, more transparency and control and acquisition of new costumers. Advantages and quality of online banking are guaranteed only when it is taken care of safe and secure use of online services. When using online banking, costumers use confidential personal data, for which they want to be protected safely. Therefore each individual himself as well as banks must protect the information from unwanted abuse and threats. Many people still do not trust online services and they still give advantage to the bank window and personal banking business. This goes especially for people older generation, who is not so informaticaly educated. As it turned out, the biggest users of online banking are young people, who use online services daily. Faster technological development and the growing inventiveness of people represents increasing threat to online banking. For banks operational risks represent a high threat as a result of errors in the implementation of internal processes, human mistakes or system errors and the external factors. For the banks operational risks can mean the collapse, because in the past they were the cause of huge banking losses. It is necessary to ensure effective monitoring and risk management, quality security policy and protection of banks. More important than the protection of banks is to protect the users. Operational risks in banks can not be hundred percent eliminated, but it is possible to minimize their effects. Therefore, banks with the latest technology to ensure safety, adequate security policy and its implementation wish to establish a safe online business. With technological protection, solutions to ensure safety and different combinations of instruments that enable secure online business, banks want to offer the safest option. It is important that the user himself is responsible when using online banking. The user has to save his passwords and digital certificate correctly and also take care of computer hardware and software. NLB is the holder of a high quality security policy and protection of users that according to the latest standards, cares for safety and security of e-commerce services by Proklik and Klik. NLB secured their services with security elements which they successfully upgrade and enables secure access for the user. NLB tries to inform its users of current risks and encourage them to use their services carefully. Online security is never hundred percent sure, so its users should not take it for granted.
