Abstract

Secondary title: Comparison of results of manual and programmed selection of embroidery machine parameters
Secondary abstract: Manual and automated programming of bitmap and vector images for the production of embroidery with or without nonwoven backing on thermo velour and reference fabric is presented within this diploma work. Because of lower quality the bitmap images were programmed manually. Vector image templates were applicable for automated programming due to appropriate graphic resolution. The ideal product was designed and produced using manual programming on the selected textile fabric – thermo velour. The same program applied on the reference fabric was too much saturated with stitches and therefore unsuitable for use. Manual programming is known to perform the procedure in one step, while automated programming is more time-consuming because of required additional corrections and re-stitching. Programming for embroidery works requires years of experience. In many cases it is necessary to anticipate different restrictions and to find solutions for particular problems.
