Abstract

Diplomsko delo "Prometna ozaveščenost osnovnošolcev na skrajnem severovzhodnem delu Slovenije" je sestavljeno iz dveh zaokroženih celot - teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu smo podrobneje razložili pojem promet in z njim povezane prometne nesreče ter pomen prometne varnosti. Natančneje smo opredelili otroka kot aktivnega udeleženca v prometu. Poudarili smo pomen prometne vzgoje v osnovni šoli in vlogo družine v njej. V empiričnem delu predstavljamo rezultate empirične raziskave, vezane na teoretična spoznanja. Ugotavljamo, da je znanje otrok o prometu dokaj dobro glede na samo možnost vključevanja le-teh v prometne situacije, temu primerno pa je tudi ravnanje.

Secondary abstract: The thesis "Primary school pupils' awareness of traffic in the northeastern part of Slovenia" is composed of two parts - the theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part precisely defines the term traffic and associated traffic accidents as well as the meaning of traffic safety. Furthermore, this part determines a child as a participant in traffic. The emphasis was put on traffic education in primary school and the role of the family therein. The empirical represents the results of empirical research related to theoretical findings. It was established that the children's knowledge in traffic considering the possibility of including them in traffic situations is rather good and so is their behavior in traffic situations.
