Abstract

Diplomsko delo z naslovom Obravnava vejice v slovenskih pravopisih med letoma 1899 in 2001 prikazuje razvoj normativnih določil stave vejice in raziskuje rabo ponazoritvenih zgledov ob pravopisnih določilih stave vejice v šestih pomembnejših izdajah slovenskega pravopisa, in sicer v SP 1899, SP 1920, SP 1935, SP 1950, SP 1962 in SP 2001. Osnovni namen diplomskega dela je predstaviti in analizirati rabo vejice v slovenskih pravopisih v obdobju od najstarejše do najmlajše izdaje, nadalje pa preveriti dopolnitve ali popravke stave vejice, predstaviti ponazoritvene zglede, jih umestiti v literarni kanon ter se opredeliti do njihove aktualnosti in številčnosti za vsak pravopisni priročnik posebej. Kot zanimivost je analizirana tudi stava vejice v izbranih pravopisnih priročnikih, predstavljene in primerjane so tudi kritike in polemike rabe vejice v omenjenih pravopisih. Hkrati so obravnavana tudi aktualna pereča vprašanja o zapisu vejice, kjer stava še ni dovolj natančno utemeljena.

Secondary abstract:	The thesis Presentation of the comma in Slovene orthographic codes between 1899 and 2001 shows the development of norm-regulating codes of the comma. It also researches the use of illustrative examples that substantiate orthographic codes of the comma in six major orthographic reference books: SP 1899, SP 1920, SP 1935, SP 1950, SP 1962 and SP 2001. The thesis presents and analyzes the use of the comma in Slovene orthographic codes from the oldest to the youngest orthographic publication. Further, it outlines additions or corrections of orthographic codes of the comma and presents illustrative examples, which are mainly classified into the literary canon. It also defines topicality and numerosity of orthographic codes of the comma for each orthographic reference book. In addition, this work also analyzes the use of the comma in other selected orthographic reference books. It presents and compares reviews and polemics about the use of the comma. It also discusses current topical issues in transcriptions of the comma, where orthographic codes are not clearly explained.
