Abstract
Diplomsko delo opredeljuje poklicno orientacijo, izvajanje omenjene dejavnosti v osnovni in srednji šoli, vlogo šolske svetovalne službe in učiteljev ter njihovo sodelovanje pri načrtovanju in izvajanju aktivnosti poklicne orientacije. Teoretični del diplomskega dela zajema natančno opredelitev poklicne orientacije, smernice, ki jih narekuje Evropska unija, teoretične podlage izbire poklica, dejavnike poklicne odločitve, razvoj poklicne orientacije v Sloveniji ter njeno organizacijo v osnovni in srednji šoli danes. Podrobno je razložena vloga in sodelovanje učiteljev pri poklicni vzgoji, kot eni izmed temeljnih aktivnosti poklicne orientacije. V empiričnem delu je predstavljena raziskava, ki smo jo izvedli med osnovnošolskimi in srednješolskimi učitelji Podravske in Pomurske regije. Namen raziskave je ugotoviti, kako učitelji ocenjujejo posamezne dejavnike, ki vplivajo na izbiro poklica pri mladostnikih; kakšna je vloga učiteljev in šole pri poklicni orientaciji oz. poklicni vzgoji in spoznati, kakšno je sodelovanje med učitelji in šolsko svetovalno službo pri načrtovanju in izvedbi poklicne orientacije. Pri vseh vidikih raziskovalnega problema smo preverili obstoj razlik glede na delovno mesto učiteljev. Rezultati kažejo, da učitelje sebe prepoznavajo kot pomemben člen poklicne orientacije, vendar se v posamezne aktivnosti premalo vključujejo. Ugotovili smo, da je večina učiteljev, ne glede na pogostost in intenzivnost vključenosti v poklicno orientacijo, s sodelovanjem s šolsko svetovalno službo zadovoljnih. Prav tako smo spoznali, da so osnovnošolski učitelji s poklicno orientacijo nekoliko bolj povezani. Naša ugotovitev se sklada z dosedanjimi teoretičnimi spoznanji. Slednja pravijo, da imajo osnovnošolski učitelji pri poklicni orientaciji večjo vlogo od srednješolskih, in sicer zaradi večje zastopanosti poklicne vzgoje.

The diploma paper defines the vocational orientation, performance of this activity in primary and secondary schools, the role of school counseling service and teachers and their cooperation in planning and performance of vocational orientation. The theoretical part of the diploma paper consists of the exact definition of vocational orientation, guidelines dictated by the European Union, theoretical foundations in vocational selection, factors of vocational selection, the development of vocational orientation in Slovenia and its organization in primary and high schools today. The role and cooperation of teachers in vocational education, as one of the most important activity of vocational orientation is thoroughly explained. In the empirical part of the diploma paper, the research we carried out among primary and secondary school teachers in Podravje and Pomurje regions is presented. The aim of the research was to discover how do the teacher estimate the individual factors that affect the choice of profession among youth, what is the role of teachers and school in vocational orientation or education and to realize what is the cooperation between teachers and school counseling service like when planning and performing the vocational orientation. We checked the existence of the differences depending on the teachers' workplace in all points of view of the research problem. The results show that teachers recognize themselves as important link in vocational orientation, but they are not included enough in certain activities. We discovered that the majority of teachers are satisfied about the cooperation with the school counseling service, regardless of the frequency and intensity of inclusion in vocational orientation. We also realized that primary school teachers are more connected to the vocational orientation. Our finding agrees with previous theoretical cognitions. Those claim that primary school teachers have a bigger role in vocational orientation than secondary school teachers due to bigger representation of vocational education. |
