Abstract
Diplomsko delo Vloga staršev pri športnih aktivnostih predšolskih otrok je sestavljena iz teoretičnega in praktičnega dela. V teoretičnem delu smo izpostavili pojem in pomen gibanja za otrokov celostni razvoj, opredelili smo gibalne sposobnosti predšolskega otroka, predstavili smo vlogo in vpliv staršev pri gibalno/športni dejavnosti predšolskih otrok. Izpostavili pa smo tudi dejavnike (pozitivne in negativne), ki vplivajo na gibalno/športne dejavnosti predšolskih otrok. V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela je predstavljena raziskava, ki je temeljila na ne slučajnostnem namenskem vzorcu, sam vzorec pa so predstavljali starši otrok, starih od 2 do 6 let, ki obiskujejo vrtec pri Osnovni šoli Jurija Vege, vzgojno-varstvena enota Vojke Napokoj v Moravčah. V raziskavo z anonimnim anketnim vprašalnikom je bilo vključenih 100 staršev. Zanimala nas je zlasti njihova vloga pri športnih aktivnostih njihovih otrok, kako pogosto se sami skupaj s svojimi otroki ukvarjajo s športnimi aktivnostmi, kakšna je njihova ozaveščenost o koristih športnih aktivnosti, katere so najbolj priljubljene športne aktivnosti otrok in staršev ter kakšno vlogo pri športnih aktivnostih ima materialni dejavnik. Rezultati kažejo, da tri četrtine staršev v svoje športne dejavnosti vključuje tudi svoje otroke, z njimi hodijo na sprehode, skupaj kolesarijo, planinarijo, tečejo, plavajo, nekaj pa jih tudi skupaj z otroki smuča ali rola. Od športnih pripomočkov imajo doma največ žog, slaba četrtina jih ima tudi kolo. Za starše je največja ovira za njihove športne dejavnosti z otroki časovna stiska, zato tega ne počnejo vsak dan, ampak večkrat na teden.

Thesis entitled The parents' role in sports activities of pre-school children is divided into theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part we pointed out the concept and significance of sports for a child's integral development, defined motor skills of a pre-school child and presented the parents' role and influence on sports activities of pre-school children. We also pointed out factors (positive and negative) that affect sports activities of pre-school children. In the empiric part of the thesis a research is introduced; it is based on non coincidental purpose-made sampling and the sample being the parents of children aged between 2 and 6 who attend kindergarten right next to Primary School of Jurij Vega, namely Education and day care unit of Vojka Napokoj in Moravče. The research was carried out by means of an anonymous questionnaire and included 100 parents. We were especially interested in their role in sports activities of their children, how often they do sports together with their children, what their awareness about the benefits of sports is like, which are parents' and their children's favourite sports activities as well as how the material factor affects their sports activities. The results show 75 % of parents also include children in their sports activities, they go for a walk, cycle, hike, run and swim, some parents also take their children skiing or rollerblading. The majority of them own different kinds of balls as sports props, almost a quarter of them also have bikes. The biggest problem for doing sports activities with their children is the lack of time; this is why they are not able to do it every day but several times a week. |
