A comparison of motor skills of eleven years old boys with and without mild mental retardation |
Secondary abstract: |
The purpose of this study was to examine the differences between the group of children with and the group of those without mild mental disability in static and dynamic balance, hand skills and skills with a ball. The data were obtained on two schools, OŠ Dragotin Kette and OŠ Drska. Sample covered 10 children, all 11-years-old boys.
Tasks were a part of the test of child’s movement assessment, the ABC movement. There were 8 tasks and there was one questionnaire that was fulfilled by sports teachers in each of the schools.
The conclusion is that there are some differences between the group of children with and the group of those without mild mental disability, but the differences are not shown on all of the tested areas. On the other hand, on all of the tested areas the results have shown the differences among the children inside the group of those with mild mental disability. |

Namen diplomskega dela je bil raziskati ali obstajajo razlike v statičnem in dinamičnem ravnotežju, spretnosti rok in spretnosti z žogo pri otrocih z lažjo motnjo v duševnem razvoju in brez nje. Podatke sem zbirala na dveh šolah in sicer na OŠ Dragotina Ketteja, OŠ z nižjim izobraževalnim programom in OŠ Drska, večinsko OŠ. Vzorec je zajemal 10 otrok, in sicer dečkov, starih 11 let.
Naloge so bile del testnega inštrumentarija za oceno otrokovega gibanja, ABC gibanje. Test je obsegal 8 nalog iz že na začetku naštetih področij ter vprašalnika, ki sta jih izpolnjevali športni pedagoginji na posamezni OŠ.
Izkazalo se je, da obstajajo razlike med učenci z in učenci brez lažje motnje v duševnem razvoju, vendar ne na vseh področjih, tako kot smo predvidevali. Na vseh področjih pa obstajajo razlike znotraj skupine dečkov z lažjo motnjo v duševnem razvoju. |
