Secondary abstract:	In the thesis, position of Suha krajina and municipality of Žužemberk with its cultural and natural heritage is presented. The central part of the thesis deals with presentation of famous people from Suha krajina, whose work is recognized in Slovenia as well as worldwide. Interesting facts about some of the celebrities obtained from oral sources as well as the list of plaques and monuments in their honour are presented in the empirical part of the thesis. Primary school Žužemberk with its musesum of famous people from Suha krajina, including various exibits and documents referring to their life and work, is also presented. The didactic part comprises three lessons with worksheets about famous people from Suha krajina, one for each of the three educational cycles. The key point of the lessons was to determine how well the celebrities from the school museum are known among pupils, whom the pupils are more fond of and what they mean to them.
