Secondary abstract: Dissertation The role of a preschool teacher in the first class of the nine-year elementary school discusses the work of a preschool teacher in a nine-year elementary school and its role in the first class. In the theoretical part it is presented the nine-year elementary school, features of the first class and its curriculum. It is described the work of a preschool teacher in the first class of elementary school, in the after-school care and morning care because preschool teacher is also involved in this type of work. In the first class, the preschool teacher and the teacher work together as a team, so we describe the characteristics of team work and the importance of mutual communication. It is important the knowledge of developmental characteristics of six- year old children and allowing of educational situations and conditions that will contribute to the optimal development of children's personalities. Individuals who enter a team are different between each other. Teachers and preschool teachers have different knowledge, level of qualification, skills, motivation to work in a team, different work habits and a desire for professional growth. Therefore it is important a mutual cooperation, interaction and good communication. This metod leads to good results of the work. Based on research, we found out that preschool teachers are actively involved in teaching and in team and enable joint design, the derivation and evaluation work in the classroom.

Abstract (ePrints): Diplomska naloga obravnava delo vzgojiteljice v devetletni osnovni šoli in njeno vlogo v prvem razredu. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljena devetletna osnovna šola, značilnosti prvega razreda ter učni načrt. Opisano je delo vzgojiteljice v prvem razredu osnovne šole ter v podaljšanem bivanju in jutranjem varstvu, saj vzgojiteljica sodeluje tudi pri tej obliki dela. V prvem razredu vzgojiteljica in učiteljica sodelujeta v timu, zato opisujemo značilnosti timskega dela ter pomembnost medsebojne komunikacije. Pomembno je poznavanje razvojnih značilnosti šestletnih otrok in omogočanje učno-vzgojnih situacij in okoliščin, ki bodo pripomogle k optimalnemu razvoju otrokove osebnosti. Posamezniki, ki vstopajo v tim, se med seboj razlikujejo. Učitelji in vzgojitelji imajo različna znanja, stopnjo strokovne usposobljenosti, sposobnosti, motivacijo za delo v timu, različne delovne navade in želje po profesionalni rasti. Zato so pomembni medsebojno sodelovanje, povezanost in dobra komunikacija. Tak način dela pripelje do dobrih rezultatov. Na osnovi raziskave smo ugotovili, da vzgojiteljice aktivno sodelujejo pri pouku in v timu ter skupno omogočajo načrtovanje, izpeljavo in evalvacijo dela v razredu.
