Secondary abstract: Thanks to the specialists, various types of education and rehabilitation programs life today can be easier for children with special needs. But yet all this could not be done without cooperation between children, their parents, educators and other specialists. For this relationship to work and bring pozitive results, they all have to have an open mind and be prepared for numerous sacrificies. My intention was to find out what kind of opinion do special educators and rehabilitation pedagogs have about influence on children with special needs. Results confirmed that family has important and strong influence on children with special needs. Family members have to be patient, understandable and tolerant. They also have to be prepared to make sacrifice. Results showed that special educators and rehabilitation pedagogs who were answering the questionnaires are able to detect and follow the impact family on children with special needs, especially in growing up period. We have to remember that either we deal with children with special needs or not, all children are special.

Abstract (ePrints): Otroci s posebnimi potrebami danes lahko živijo dokaj normalno življenje. Zahvaljujoč sodelovanju strokovnjakov, pedagogov, odprtosti in sprejemljivosti staršev ter lažji dostopnosti sredstev, ki vse to omogočajo. Diplomsko delo je namenjeno ugotovitvi mnenj specialnih in rehabilitacijskih pedagogov o vplivu družine na otroka s posebnimi potrebami. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da igra družina pomembno vlogo pri razvoju in funkcioniranju otrok s posebnimi potrebami. Rezultati uporabljenih anket so pokazali, da dejstvo iz kakšne družine otroci prihajajo, nima pretiranega vpliva. Slednje še posebej velja kar zadeva socialno-ekonomski status družine. Največ poudarka je predvsem na dobrem razumevanju, vzgoji, strpnosti, vlaganju truda in sodelovanju tako znotraj, kot zunaj družine. Iz dobljenih rezultatov lahko sklepam, da znajo specialni in rehabilitacijski pedagogi, ki so bili anketirani, zelo dobro opaziti in slediti vplivu družine in njihovih odnosov na razvoj otrok s posebnimi potrebami. Potrebno se je zavedati, da so vsi otroci nekaj posebnega, ne glede na to ali gre za otroka s posebnimi potrebami ali ne.
