The thesis deals with the household as an important factor in protecting and maintaining a clean environment in which we live. Insights of domestic and foreign research are suggesting that human race in it's irrational behavior results in increased environmental pollution. The essential problems are pollution of air, water and soil due to activities in the economy, transport and households.
The purpose of the diploma is to highlight the problem of environmental pollution by households, with the objectives to determine whether the population is familiar with the concept of "green household", or in their households operate on ecological principles and contribute to the fact that their household is minimizes pollution of nature and whether there are differences in understanding the concept of "green household" in different age groups of respondents. Results of the online survey, which included 197 people between the ages of 16 and 75 showed that the mentality of the ecological orientation of households is positive, but potential for improving the current situation still exists. Especially in the field of energy saving and use of renewable natural resources, protection and conservation of drinking water and consistent management of waste, which allows more effective recycling of materials. |

Abstract (ePrints): |
