Secondary title: Certain primary school classroom teaching students competencies in relation to sport
Secondary abstract: The aim of this study was to determine what is the relationship of students of the Faculty of education in Ljubljana, section classroom teaching, to sport and physical education and what are their skills in sport activities. The aim was also to determine how often do the students involve in sport and what is their physical condition, how to assess students in the mastery of certain sports, which sports genres they prefer dealing with, if they train any sport and do they participate in certain curricular activities. The sample consists of 347 students of the Faculty of education in Ljubljana, generations 2005/2006, 2006/2007 and 2007/2008. Our results obtained suggest that the competence of students to sport is quite good, sport is often engaging and they have a good knowledge of various sports. Their attitude to sport is positive. This gives a solid basis for successfully managing the process of physical education at primary level.

Vzorec merjencev sestavlja 347 študentov in študentk 4. letnikov Pedagoške fakultete v Ljubljani, generacij 2005/2006, 2006/2007 in 2007/2008.
